Governors fulfill their responsibilities by:
- Holding school leaders to account for the educational and financial performance of the federation: the Governing Board creates robust accountability for the federation's leadership team through rigorous analysis of performance data and financial information.
- Setting the federation's vision and strategy for achieving this vision: the Governing Board agrees key priorities and and key performance indicators against which progress towards achieving the vision can be measured.
- Ensuring the federation's financial success and probity: the Governing Board ensures that the budget each school receives is managed effectively, with regard to value for money
Governors are appointed by the Governing Board, with the exception of Parent Governors who are elected by parents and carers, and Staff Governors who are elected by staff.
