Catch Up Premium
The government has provided a one-off grant to support pupils in state education in recognition that all young people have lost time in education as a result of the pandemic, regardless of their income or background.
The funding is being provided in three instalments and it is down to schools to decide how the money is spent to best meet the needs of their pupils.
We have three key priorities:
- Identify and address gaps in learning through quality first teaching of the recovery curriculum and targeted intervention.
- Identify and address any social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
- Provide high quality remote learning for pupils who have to self-isolate.
